· Ratings from Google; ranking formula published on /how-we-rank
Turkey's aesthetic sector is dominated by a handful of large, recognisable brands, and telling them apart from the outside is genuinely difficult. Every one of them publishes photographs, testimonials and package prices. None of that is comparable across providers. What is comparable is the public record each has accumulated, and that is what this page ranks.
All nine brands below currently operate in Istanbul. That is not an editorial preference — it is where the sector's largest public review bases are, and we would rather say so plainly than imply a national spread the data does not show. As brands elsewhere in Turkey build a comparable record, they will enter this list on the same terms.
Nothing here is advice on which provider to choose, or on whether to have a procedure at all. That belongs in a consultation with a qualified clinician.
What the score is built from
Every brand on this page is scored by one formula, applied identically, and published in full with a worked example on how we rank. It weighs four things: what a Google rating is worth once review volume is accounted for, which accreditations are on record, how long the business has been operating, and whether a second independent review platform has been verifiably captured for it.
Nobody can pay for a position. There is no editorial adjustment and no manual reordering — where two brands score identically, the one with more reviews is placed higher, and the rule is published rather than applied quietly.

estethica presents itself as a health group covering hair transplantation, plastic and reconstructive surgery, oral and dental health, dermatology and medical aesthetics, and stomach and weight treatments. Its own site claims more than twenty years of experience but states no founding year, so no longevity bonus is applied to its score here.

Rememore covers aesthetic and plastic surgery, hair transplantation, obesity surgery, dental care, male aesthetics, limb lengthening and eye treatments. Its own site describes it as the international medical-tourism and patient-coordination brand of Memorial Hospitals Group, with treatments carried out at contracted facilities; Memorial's own international site presents Rememore as its route for aesthetic operations and links to it directly. Its Google listing carries only a small number of reviews so far, which is what places it low here — the formula weighs how many people stand behind a rating, not the average on its own.

How to read these positions
A high score is a strong public record, not a clinical verdict. It says a large number of people have rated this brand well over time. It says nothing about the surgeon who would treat you, the technique proposed for your case, or your own result.
The gap between first and last is mostly volume, not quality. Look at the numbers rather than the ranks. A brand near the bottom with a handful of reviews and a brand near the bottom with a mediocre average are in the same position for opposite reasons, and the score alone will not tell you which is which — the rating and review count printed beside each entry will.
A perfect average on a small base is the weakest signal on this page. It is also the easiest to produce. The formula discounts it deliberately, and that discount is the single largest reason positions differ here.
These are brands, not buildings. Several of the businesses listed operate more than one location, sometimes several within the same district, each with its own Google listing and its own rating. The entry below names the specific listing it was matched to. If you are travelling to one, confirm which address you are booked into rather than assuming a brand-level figure applies to every branch of it.
Some of these are coordinators, not surgical providers. Reading each brand's own website turned up a distinction their marketing does not make loudly: several state plainly that they do not perform treatments themselves, and that procedures take place at contracted institutions holding a health-tourism authorisation. Where that is what a brand says about itself, the note under its entry says so. It matters, because a coordinator's rating measures the experience it organises — communication, transfers, aftercare arrangements — as much as the surgery someone else performed.
A missing founding year costs a brand points here. The formula adds up to five points for years in operation, and it only counts a founding year that the brand publishes itself. Four of the businesses below state one clearly, the rest give a vague "over twenty years" or nothing at all, and those get nothing for longevity rather than an estimate. That is a limitation of what is publicly stated, not a finding about how long they have really been trading.
What this page cannot tell you
It draws on four inputs and no others: the Google rating with the number of reviews behind it, any accreditation on record, an approximate operating history, and whether a second independent rating platform has been captured. Those four produce every score above.
It cannot tell you what a procedure will cost — we publish no price figures, because a headline number means nothing until you know what it includes. It cannot tell you who will personally perform your operation, which is worth establishing by name rather than by brand. It cannot tell you whether a given brand is suitable for your case. And it cannot tell you what your result will look like.
Before you commit
Ask each provider, in writing, before you book travel:
- Who performs the operation, by name, and what are their qualifications? A brand's reputation and an individual surgeon's are different things.
- Which location will you actually be treated at? For a multi-branch brand this is not a formality — ratings, teams and facilities differ between branches of the same name.
- What is included in the quoted figure, itemised? Consultation, medication, follow-up visits, accommodation and transfers are the items most often assumed and most often absent.
- What happens if the result does not meet the plan? Ask about revision policy and who is responsible once you have returned home.
- Can any accreditation claim be confirmed with the body that issued it? A logo on a web page is an image; the issuing body keeps the register.
None of this replaces professional medical advice or your own judgement. Use the ranking as a place to start, not as a decision.
Frequently asked questions
- How often is this list updated, and why does the title carry a year?
- The ranking is recomputed from current Google data rather than frozen at publication, so positions move as review counts and averages move. The year in the title marks which edition you are reading; the web address stays the same from one edition to the next, so a link saved today still reaches the current version rather than an archived one.
- What exactly does a brand's Google rating cover here?
- Everything that brand does at the location we matched. These are multi-treatment providers — the same business may perform surgery, dental work and weight-loss procedures — so the average you see is drawn from patients who came for very different reasons. That is why this page is a brand-level comparison and not a ranking of any one operation, and why a strong score here should not be read as evidence about a specific procedure.
- Why does a clinic with a perfect star average sit near the bottom?
- Because a rating counts for more when more people stand behind it. A handful of five-star reviews carries far less weight in the formula than several thousand reviews averaging slightly lower, which is what stops a brand-new listing from outranking an established one on a single perfect week. A low position here reflects a thin public record, not a judgement about the care given.
- Why are large general hospitals not on this list?
- Their public rating averages every department they run — emergency, maternity, outpatient scheduling — most of which has nothing to do with aesthetic work. Placing that number beside a dedicated aesthetic brand's would invite a comparison the two figures cannot support. Where a hospital group markets its aesthetic work under a separate brand, it is that brand which can appear here on its own record.
