Data provenance
Each clinic’s entry in a guide — its Google rating, accreditations, years in operation, and, when available, a Trustpilot rating — is compiled from publicly available sources: the clinic’s own website, public business registries, Google Business Profiles, Trustpilot, and public accreditation registries. We do not independently verify medical credentials beyond what is publicly disclosed by these sources. Ranking scores are calculated using the fixed formula published at /how-we-rank, and no clinic can pay for inclusion, a higher score, or a better position.
Correction & removal requests
If you are affiliated with a clinic featured in one of our guides, or believe any information published here is inaccurate, out of date, or should be removed, contact us with the guide URL, the clinic’s name, and the change you’re requesting — we review every request. KVKK & GDPR
BestDoctorTurkey does not require visitors to create an account. A clinic’s entry in a guide contains only professional information already publicly available. If you are affiliated with a clinic and wish to exercise a data protection right under Turkey’s Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, Law No. 6698) or the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), email bestdoctorturkey@gmail.com.
Enquiry form data
When you open the enquiry panel next to a clinic’s entry inside one of our guides to request more information, we collect the name, email address, country, and (if you choose to provide them) phone number and message that you enter, along with the treatment and clinic you enquired about. We also record, automatically, the page you submitted the enquiry from and your browser’s user agent string. The bot-verification check we use (Cloudflare Turnstile, described below) runs on every page of this site, not only the enquiry form, so Cloudflare receives your IP address on every page you visit, whether or not you ever open the form. Separately, when you submit the form, we use your IP address ourselves for a few minutes: it is checked against a short-lived, in-memory rate limit — capped at a small number of submissions per IP address within a 10-minute window, to slow down automated abuse — and is discarded automatically once that window passes; we do not otherwise store your IP address or write it to our database. We use the details you provide to respond to your enquiry, to verify the submission is not automated, and, if you choose to proceed, to share your contact and enquiry details with the clinic you asked about — the clinics featured in our guides are based in Turkey, which is outside the European Economic Area (EEA), so that sharing is an international transfer of your data.
To operate this form we use three external service providers, each of which processes a limited part of your data on our behalf. Cloudflare(Turnstile), a bot-verification service, receives your IP address (on every page view, as described above) and your interaction with the verification challenge, to confirm your submission is not automated. Resend, our email delivery service, receives your name, email address, phone number, country, treatment, clinic, source page and message so that a notification email can be sent to our team. Supabase, our database provider, receives and stores the entire enquiry — every field listed above, plus the consent version and timestamp — as the system of record for your submission; see below for where it is hosted and how long we keep it. Cloudflare and Resend are both US-based companies, so sending your data to them is an international transfer outside the EEA. We do not sell your details. Other than the clinic you asked about (if you choose to proceed) and the three service providers named here — Cloudflare, Resend, and Supabase — we do not share your enquiry details with any other third party.
That Supabase database is hosted in Frankfurt, Germany (EU). We keep enquiry records for up to 24 months from submission, after which they are deleted; this period can be shortened on request. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your enquiry details at any time, email bestdoctorturkey@gmail.com.
